Very small bathroom, difficult to maneuver inside.

The service was very good, the breakfast was unusual and wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed to spend 5 days in our recently renovated guest room with a double bed, iron and tacky furniture.

My stay was amazing with the most good breakfast I've ever had. The staff went above and beyond with my luggage-huge relief with my travels! Just a tad dusty in the corners, though.

The location of the hotel was good. Is within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar and other historical sites. Hotel is very quiet and good for getting a good nights rest. This particular street is closed to all traffic. There is also good shopping for clothing and shoes in this area. Staff is very helpful but wish they could speak a little more English. I've stayed at this hotel before and will stay again when I am in Istanbul.
If staff could speak a little more English that would be very helpful. My room was fine except the bathroom could use a little refurbishing.

The location was spot on for hitting the Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet without breaking a sweat. Breakfast was surprisingly good, definitely one of the best I've encountered in a place like this.
Here's the deal-Wi-Fi struggled beyond the initial excitement. If your room's not near the router, prepare for a connection that feels like it's stuck in hyperspace. The interior design lacks a sharp edge. Visible cables and some untidiness give it a less polished vibe. Plus, on one occasion, I noticed that not all rooms had a proper non-smoking option. You get what you pay for, decent, but not without its quirks.

I liked Maya Hotel. Everything was pretty good, pleasant stuff, tidy rooms, free wifi even in rooms, newly decorated building, good breakfast, excellent location in the very center of the ancient city, next to famous mosques and sights (Topkapi and Grand Bazar within walking distance as well as Blue mosque, Aya-Sophia and many others). The price of staying is fair. Definitely recommend!
Hotel has no parking area, but there are some rather cheap ones within 5 min walk.

The venue is clean, with particularly good and absolutely perfect location just next door to New VEZNECILER metro stop as well as public transport. Very polite staff, they know their business. The ambiance is quiet.

I'm utterly appalled by my experience. The shower drain, inadequate, and one bedside table for three beds? How do you expect comfort there? I also expected a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles but was treated like everyone else. The audacity! Just couldn't bring myself to leave a good review after that.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpfull. Several spoke English well. It was situated in the old city so was not far from the main sights. The atmosphere in the evening aroung the hotel was especially nice with the sound of music coming out of various local restaurants. This did not go on too late so didn't interfere with sleep. The restaurant we went to each night (recommended by the hotel) had live music which was very pleasant with the meals which were good with good veriety and quality and not expensive. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was like a home from home for us as the staff were so friendly and helpful. We are not likely to go to Istanbul again, but if we did we would be happy to stay at the Maya again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Speaking english was no problem at all. Breakfest was from 7-10 am, the buffet was nice, nothing fancy, but tasty and quite a bit to choose from. Also, the location was good, there is a tram-station about 3-5 mins away, which goes directly to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and further over Galata-bridge. All in all, nice hotel and fair price! Oh: reception is open 24/7!

great stay but needs minor improvements
Very good value for money. The location suited me perfectly for exploring the city. The staff were attentive. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts with a variety of options and quality that actually surprised me. The room offered a nice view of the bustling city life below.
The bathroom space felt a bit cramped and could use some reconfiguration.
